Why it Matters

The Problem
It has been estimated that rare genetic diseases cumulatively affect close to 70 million people in India and 300 million worldwide
  • There has been no comprehensive system for screening/diagnosis of genetic diseases in India
In addition, the problem of number is compounded by
  • The lack of general awareness on genetic diseases in India,
  • The lack of an easily available and affordable system to offer genetic testing to aid clinicians and
  • The lack of understanding of the mutational spectrum and common mutations in genetic diseases in the country.
What we do
We enable clinicians, patients and families through easy accessibility to genetic tests. Through the programme we enable clinicians to make an early diagnosis, early and targeted intervention through a significant reduction in costs for diagnosis.

We operate through a network of partner medical institutions across the country
